A Streetcar Named Desire (12)

Tonight I have finished reading scene 10 of streetcar. This scene is really calm at the beginning. It takes place at the house and Blanche is dressing as if she were a queen. Stanley walks in and starts talking to her, this is when she says she got a wire from a friend to go on a cruise. She acts excited but there is the hint of lies. Stanley is on to this from the beginning, and when Blanche lies about Mitch begging her forgiveness he snaps and starts screaming at her, calling her out on every end. There is a couple moments after this where Stanley goes into the bathroom, and Blanche calls the operator for help. Stanley comes out and she leaves the phone off the hook, they start talking about that, and then he gets in the way of her and the door to leave. They fight a bit and he kind of scares her into the bedroom, where she tries to hurt him but he wins and takes her to the bed to obviously rape her by the text being used. I'll continue.
