Tonight i read scene 5 of good person. I didn't feel that was right of the barber to smash Wang's hand with the curling thing. It sounded like it really hurt too. And then the nerve of the people who witnessed it who wouldn't say anything. I really felt bad for Wang, he was just trying to make a living like anyone else. Well, I thought it was extremely nice for the old couple to lend Shen Teh the six moths rent, but also incredibly stupid to give it to Sun's mother. Well, it sounds like she really loves him, and she is a good person. I don't know how she's going to get the rent and still pay the old couple back. And I see how Brecht is trying to break the illusion of being sucked in and all but I'm still sucked in. Like the way I imagined everything going on, It included the audience so I'm not sure if that's bad or something...? Oh and Shen Teh being the cousin. I knew it already and I'm still trying to figure out how she pulls it off, I'm really looking forward to see how the cousin handles the situation. I still believe that Shen Teh wants to be a good person but can't with the way the economy is, so to me I feel like she is trying to trick everyone by bringing in her cousin who is in a way a different person, so she can still be good, and get around the consequences by using the cousin.
